There’s no better way to introduce spring into your wardrobe than with a denim miniskirt. Recently, denim skirts have been popping up in dark, sophisticated washes and front details like buttons or zippers. The hardware details going down the front of the skirt elongates the legs and I love a classic dark wash for versatility.
With any skirt, be it a tighter-fitting mini, or a flowing midi, I always like styling it with a tucked-in, fitted top. I find that pairing creates a long, flattering silhouette. This top from Lucky Brand has the perfect amount of ruffle detail on the shoulders that elevates it a step up from a plain T-shirt. Long sleeves, and my new favorite booties keeps the outfit practical for the still cooler temperatures. Finally, wearing a crossbody bag ties the whole look together and adds an additional point of visual interest. This is one of my favorite looks that I’ve put together recently, and I can’t wait to keep mixing my denim mini with more “spring-y” tops and high-heeled sandals as the weather warms up! x
