How to style a corduroy miniskirt

As the bright colors of summer darken into the rich tones of fall, I’m reminded all over again why this is my favorite season. Something about the dramatic shift in textures and the signature candle scents gives me all the cozy feels. As I lit my favorite Chestnut and Clove candle, I started to think about fall style, and couldn’t stop with all the sweaters, thermals, and yummy fabrics that are hitting the stores right now. This outfit combines all my favorite fall things: a pure white chenille sweater that’s slightly oversized so it hangs off the shoulders, a fitted miniskirt in the prettiest ginger color, taupe booties, and layered gold necklaces. They all come together to create one of my favorite fall looks ever! Best part is, there are so many variations of this outfit – go with a suede skirt instead of corduroy, or a fitted turtleneck instead of the white sweater. And when the weather gets colder, swap the booties for some over the knee boots!

skirt (similar), also this one / sweater (very similar here) / necklaces (under $6! I swapped the chains for gold-plated ones) / booties

These specific pieces are sold out from Forever21, but I’ve linked similar items from there at the same price points. I’ve been very pleasantly satisfied with the quality of the items I’ve selected from F21 recently – there are always hidden gems! I feel like I would have paid triple for the same items at a boutique or more high-end retailers. Love being stylish without the steep price tag.

On a separate note, I always keep my “favorite finds” page updated with my latest purchases and things that I’m obsessed with at the moment. Check it out for fall goodness and beauty inspiration! Thank you so much for reading! x
