Sephora Sale is here for Beauty Insiders! Honestly, with all the products I have, I’m surprised I’m not at least VIB status but alas I had to wait to get my spring sephora discount. As of May 2, here are the discounts that each Sephora level gets: Rouge – 20% (code: HEYROUGE), VIB – 15% (code: HEYVIB), Beauty Insider – 10% (code: HEYINSIDER). Anyone can be a beauty insider and it’s free to sign up! Keep reading to see some of my favorite products that I use consistently that are now on sale!
Sunday Riley Tidal Cream – My go-to gel cream moisturizer. It has papaya enzymes for gentle exfoliation, alpha-arbutin to brighten the skin, and two types of hyaluronic acid plus tamarind extract for hydration. Full of goodness and sinks in instantly.
Indie Lee Squalane Oil – Squalane oil is particularly good for skin that is acne prone because of how light it is, but make no mistake – it is super effective. I use this after my serum and before my moisturizers or sleeping masks at night. In the morning, I will mix a few drops of the oil into my Sunday Riley Tidal cream and put it all over my face. I will never be without this oil. It’s changed my life!
Indie Lee CoQ-10 toner– ’ve tried a lot of toners and this CoQ-10 toner is one of my absolute favorites. I love how soft it feels on the skin (some toners can feel really astringent and stripping). It also smells so luxe – clean and floral and herbal in the best way. I soak a cotton round with the toner and swipe over my face. I don’t know about you, but I get a lot of satisfaction seeing residual makeup, etc on my cotton pad and using this toner definitely doesn’t disappoint!
Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant Sport Luxe – I’ve tried several clean deodorants and looked at even more in stores and this is hands down the best one out of them all. Firstly, I love the formula. It goes on so smooth and it smells so lovely – very fresh and floral. Secondly, it works really well with my body chemistry. Everyone is different, but this one works really well for me and makes me feel confident that I’ll continue to smell fresh throughout the day!
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum – This serum is clear which is not what I was expecting from a hydrating serum, but I love it. With colloidal oatmeal, hyaluronic acid, and soluble collagen (plus many, many more skin loving ingredient) it packs a hydrating punch yet sinks in quickly. I love using this right after toner and before my Indie Lee oils. The pump packaging is super convenient too!
Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask – while I love my Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask, I have to say I love the Glow Recipe Avocado Mask just a tad more! It’s very creamy and I love how it smooths out evenly over the skin (no tugging at the skin like a lot of other thick creams). It’s formulated with Kaolin clay, so find it quite soothing as well and it does help with calming the skin down if it feels a little fussy.
Herbivore Brighten Instant Glow Mask – I’ll be honest, I can only tell this mask is working when my skin is kinda dull, like after being out in the sun and when it’s dehydrated. However, it seriously does brighten when you need it. It has pineapple and papaya enzymes (I love those) and micronized tourmaline (not sure about that one) and I leave it on for about 20 minutes before washing it off.
Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Hair Mask – my first foray into clean haircare and I’m never looking back. I got this in a whole set of Briogeo faves but this hair mask is their best seller for a reason. IT’s packed with nourishing ingredients that actually give nutrients back to your hair as opposed to just masking split ends. I actually love using this mask as a leave in treatment when my hair is wet, or using a little bit to smooth out frizz in the morning or after I use my curling iron. After using this mask, my color treated hair feels so healthy and silky, and dare I say it – pretty much as good as before I started coloring it! Plus it smells heavenly, and this huge tub will last me a really long time.
It Cosmetics CC cream – I’ve used up a whole tube of this foundation. It has a lovely, dewy finish and is medium to full coverage. Plus it has SPF 50 and a host of lovely ingredients for the skin including snail filtrate (sounds weird, but so good) and niacin.
BareMinerals BarePro Foundation / BareMinerals BareSkin Foundation – I got both of these at TJMaxx recently (conveniently right as I ran out of the It Cosmetics CC cream) and have been loving wearing these mixed together. I’m the color 19-Toffee in the BarePro and the color 09-Bare Nude in the BareSkin. On its own the BarePro is fairly matte and full coverage but I sheer it out and make it a bit more glowy with the BareSkin. I love that there is SPF20 in these foundations! I usually use an air cushion puff to apply my foundation and it does really well with these two.
Becca x Chrissy Teigan Palette – This palette contains 2 highlighters, a blush, and a bronzer all of which are gorgeous spring/summer shades. I love using the blush in this palette when I want more of a pop of color and the more peachy highlight is so beautiful. The bronzer is a very wearable neutral shade – not orange at all. I would travel with just this palette and be very happy!
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light – This is one of the most beautiful, soft, luxurious highlighters I’ve ever used. The finish on the skin is so delicate and refined, yet noticeably illuminating. When I think of high-end makeup, this is it. I use it all along my cheekbones, into the inner corners of my eyes, on my nose and chin, and it is just the perfect finishing touch to my makeup. I definitely apply it over the Becca highlighters, and I use the E.L.F. Powder Blurring Brush to dab/press it onto my skin because it makes it a bit more pigmented, which I love. Cannot recommend this product enough!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Paaarty – I love this nude-pink blush when I want a more subtle flush to my cheeks. The formula is really smooth and the packaging is nice and thin – great for traveling.
Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Golden Goddess – The most versatile little palette featuring very wearable bronze and taupe shades. Because of my eye shape, I like to pack on the deeper lower right shade from my lash line and then blend to the crease with the upper right taupe shade. This technique gives me a defined eye look but not like I’m obviously wearing a ton of eyeshadow. Love patting that sparkly shade on with my ring finger for when I want a little extra something!
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer – This is my first “higher end” concealer (not from a drugstore) and I really like how skin-like it looks on. Some shades do oxidize so I would go a shade lighter (I’m light warm). Has good staying power and doesn’t break down. I mostly use it for covering breakouts since I don’t really have dark undereye circles.
Anastasia Brow Definer – I really like the thickness of this eyebrow pencil – thicker than Brow Wiz or other skinny type pencils. It saves a lot of time when doing my brows and I haven’t seen a lot of other The spoolie on the other end is convenient.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Liner and Lipstick – the most universal flattering pinky-nude shade. The liner is quite creamy for lipliners and has good staying power. This is my only lip liner and I don’t see the need to go find any other one! I like pairing the lipstick on top or even on its own as it is pigmented. My go to shade for when I want to look polished and sophisticated!
If you got to the end of this post -THANK YOU! I hope this was helpful in sharing what I truly love from Sephora and use every day. I have a lot of things I love using right now but the two items on my wishlist that I’m going to pick up is the Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial in the mini size (I think it’s a decent size to see whether I like it) and the Ilia Soft Focus Loose Powder (I’m hitting pan on my Milani powder that I usually use and want to try out a clean setting powder!) Let me know what you’re picking up – I love hearing all of your recommendations!
