Best in Zara Fall 2020

Style

The new-in at Zara right now is so good you guys. I feel like this year I’ve found my core style, and it is based all on neutral wardrobe staples.

I’ll preface by saying Zara sizing sucks. Everything is tiny, so I’m putting sizing information in the hopes that it’ll be helpful for you.

High-rise wide leg white jeans – low rise skinny jeans? Don’t know her. High waisted and wide leg is my new go-to because it’s so damn flattering. Size way up – I’m usually a size 2 but got a size 8. I’m glad I did because they’re now perfection.

Camel padded shoulder top – shoulder pad detailing is very trendy right now. Padded shoulders on tops with sleeves can look a little “athletic” on me but I think as a tank, it’s chic and structural. Wore this top with the above mentioned jeans, and it’s TTS. (There’s a matching pair of pants with this too).

Structured dress – as my mother-in-law put it – this dress looks so vogue. I love the structure and detailing. Looks more expensive than the $50 I spent on it. I paired it with my square-toed Bottega sandal dupes which gives the whole look a designer vibe. I got a medium in this. Looks to be sold out online but stalk it for a restock or check your local store.

Ribbed set (tank and shorts– sold out in purple but they have other colors) – matching sets blew up the internet when lockdown started so thank goodness they are more readily available now. Zara’s contour collection gives me Skims vibes and I liked the lilac for a touch of color to my very neutral wardrobe. Plus you can mix and match the different items. I got size M/L in both the tank and shorts.

I’d say there were some classics and some trendy pieces in this haul – all affordable and good quality. Peep my instagram because I’ll be continuing to style these pieces in the coming fall and winter. xx
