I can’t believe there was once a time when I didn’t wear gold jewelry. It’s exclusively what I wear now and all the pieces I have are affordable and have stood the test of time. Minimal or stacked, gold jewelry adds the coolest vintage treasure type vibe to the simplest of outfits. Click through to take a peek into my collection..
Golden hoops 1 ($20) – I went through so many pages of gold hoop earrings on amazon and this is one of the pairs I settled on. They’re just weighty enough to feel high quality but aren’t heavy on the ears. I also really like how it’s a closed loop – I can shower and sleep in them without posts digging into my ears.
Gold hoops 2 ($15) – this is another pair of gold hoops from amazon. I liked the vintage style shape and the tiny bit of detail near the post closure. They look especially cute stacked with some gold huggies in a second piercing.
Mejuri Strength necklace ($85) – a little more pricey than amazon, but still affordable for gold jewelry. I like that this necklace is dainty, but still packs a punch in an outfit because of the fierce little lion pendant. I wear this with v neck tops a lot.
French rope necklace ($120) – this is the Maya necklace from Aureum collective. It’s adjustable and very good quality. I like this as a more classic and feminine alternative to curb chain necklaces. I wear this a lot with ribbed tanks and other crew neck tops. Looks as good as new, even after wearing it through a sweaty Maryland summer.
Bamboo initial necklace ($13) – clearly a Celine dupe. I like how this pendant looks with sweaters and sweatshirts. It comes on a choker length chain, so I just swapped it with a longer gold chain I already had.
CZ huggies ($11) – my friend Courtney recommended these to me and they’re really good for when you just want to put earrings in for the week and forget about them. The gold version is more of a light gold and I like how bright they look when you’re wearing them.
Gold huggies ($40) – I usually wear a pair of gold huggie hoops in my second piercing. The ones I have I got from the coach outlet, but I would recommend the gold huggies from Astrid and Miyu. I have another pair of huggies from them and I like the small size and strong clasp.
Mejuri Croissant ring ($70) – seen all over Instagram, but for good reason. It looks plump and vintage and looks good especially with a French mani. I like wearing this on my index or middle finger.
I hope this post was helpful in narrowing down the almost infinite options there are out there for gold jewelry. I think buying at least gold-plated jewelry (as opposed to costume jewelry) will give you the most longevity with your pieces. I’m always on the lookout for the next things to add to my collection and will be sure to share any good finds I have with you!
